Your reviews are your reputation — use them.
Look, I’m a firm believer that your Google Business Profile should be your best friend when it comes to marketing.
If you can get into the top three of the map pack, or at least the top five to seven in the local finder, you’re really in the game.
That’s how you go toe-to-toe with big national brands and the private equity-back shops.
Now, how do you actually turn that visibility into phone calls?
One word: reviews.
Actually, let me correct myself — reviews, reviews, reviews.
Darren Shaw from Whitespark did the research, and here’s the deal:
These are the top three things that drive conversions for your Google Business Profile — and they’re all review-related.
Number one: high star ratings.
Four and five stars. You need to shine. Get them.
Number two: positive sentiment in the review text.
People want to read good stuff about your work.
And number three: lots of reviews. Volume matters.
So here’s the play: ask every customer for a review.
Ask them to mention the service they got, and if they can snap a photo of the work — even better.
And don’t forget: respond to every review, good or bad.
Your reviews are your reputation. Use them.
