Today, we’re doing it from the beer and cheese capital of America—Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
I’m using a tool that fools Google into thinking I’m in Milwaukee when I’m really sitting at my home office in Austin.

🔹 5 local plumbers in the top 20
🔹 2 national franchises
🔹 2 out-of-state companies
Fairly typical.
But here’s what’s depressing—Knight Plumbing at #3. They probably worked really hard to get that spot, but they’ll only get a click about as often as a high school athlete plays ball in college—1 in 21.
Not bad, but you’d think you’d get a better return when your SEO is one of the best.
So for the rest of you who aren’t the best, you need a better marketing plan than just SEO.
