Well, good news. Here’s a simple way to fix this. With some digging from my part, I ran across this great tip.
Are you a contractor who is using the booking link on your Google Business Profile, but now, for some reason, that link is broken? Well, good news. Here’s a simple way to fix this.
You go into your Google Business Profile settings and change your primary business category. Now, don’t panic. This is only temporary.
So, if you’re listed as an HVAC contractor, change that to furnace repair. If you’re an electrician, change that to electrical installation service. And if you’re a plumber, change that to plumbing supply store.
So, once you’ve changed the primary category, then the booking links should be available to edit. And you can add a working link.
Then you go back in and change it back to your original primary category. And voila, you should have booking enabled.
