It pays to grade well on Google Ads. I figured I’d do this video as a refresher after I just made a video on paying for impressions on Google Ads.
See, Google is grading your ads. They call it Quality Score. And based on your grade, you can have an idea if you’re going to pay more or less for a click.
So, what goes into Quality Score? Three things. Number one, expected CTR. That is the expected click-through rate Google thinks the search term should return.
Number two, ad relevance, which examines how closely your ads are to your keywords.
And number three, landing page experience, which judges whether your landing page loads quickly and contains useful content.
And why does this matter? Because if you get these three factors right, you can expect your cost to go down.
According to WordStream, a Quality Score of 10 versus a five will lower your cost per click by 50%.
