Today’s a special one for me, it’s my birthday. And I’m writing this from a cruise ship sailing from LA to Miami, cutting right through the Panama Canal.

Now you might be wondering, “Why are you working on vacation?” Truth is, I’m not really working. I’m not on calls or juggling projects. I am, however, still tinkering, mocking up some AI tools on my laptop during downtime. (Yes, I’m that geek who travels with a ThinkPad packed with 96GB of RAM.)
Here’s the thing: when you love what you do, your brain doesn’t just switch off. Even while on vacation, new ideas sneak in. You start connecting dots, spotting opportunities, and thinking about how to do things better.
That’s the same energy we bring to TrueBlueCollar. We don’t just flip a switch and “run ads.” We’re constantly tinkering, testing, and pushing for better results so your phone rings more often and your crews stay busy.
And if you’ve seen the show The Three-Body Problem (highly recommended), you’ll understand why I had to laugh when this cruise ship began its journey toward the Panama Canal. Let’s just say… I’m still doing fine.
Here’s to curiosity, better results, and finding inspiration anywhere, even on vacation.
