Want to see how not to do Google ads if you own a plumbing, HVAC, or electrical shop? Then stay tuned.
Here’s a plumbing ad for emergency plumber that’s running in San Antonio.
And with some digging from my part,
we can see this ad.
So, this ad just got forgotten.
The URL takes you back to their homepage, even though they have an emergency plumber page that’s halfway decent.
The headline is as bland as possible,
San Antonio plumber.
Congratulations, you have achieved the bare minimum to run a plumbing ad in San Antonio.
But they have other emergency plumber ads with emergency in the headline.
And the ad copy tells me they’re hiring.
Look,
if I could apply for a plumbing job,
I probably wouldn’t be searching Google at midnight
to find an emergency plumber.
I’m sorry, Mr. San Antonio plumber.
This ad got forgotten, and your potential customer will soon forget you because your Google ad sucks.
