If something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. And in my humble opinion, that’s the case with SEO guarantees. And I think I’m in good company because, doing my own research, I found others agree with me.
So, without further ado, from the information I’ve gathered, here are four reasons to avoid SEO guarantees, with my commentary.
Number one, rankings can’t be guaranteed. Who says so? Google. That’s who.
Number two, fast results can mean unethical work. Bad actors can trick Google into returning short-term gains, but when Google figures it out, and they probably will, your website will take the hit, not your crooked agency.
Number three, guaranteed SEO probably won’t return high ROI. Look, anyone can rank you high for a keyword with no search volume.
And number four, initial results don’t guarantee continued success. You know, don’t sign a long-term contract on a short-term guarantee.
There’s just too many loopholes and technicalities, folks. Be very, very wary of SEO guarantees.
