As baseball season is just underway, I’ll start with an Al Michaels quote:
“You love the Yankees or you hate the Yankees.”

And so it is with my “Google Ads SUCK” videos.
They are always the most popular and most watched, but they are also the ones that I get the most negative feedback about.
And I get that. Some of you think I’m taking a shot at the Plumber, Roofer, or whatever contractor who is running the ad.
And if I was, then I’d SUCK!
But I’m not.
I’m taking a shot at the marketing guys who create these ads that not only fail, but burn through your money when they do.
So yeah, you’re still welcome to shoot the messenger, but hopefully my message gets through before you do and you’re taking a closer look at your own videos to make sure they don’t SUCK!
Without further ado, let’s get into this “worst of” Google Ads that SUCK:
- We’re looking at two Plumbing Google Ads running in St. Louis for Drain Cleaning that go from Bad to Worse. Click to see why one SUCKS more than the other.
- This HVAC Google Ad running in Seattle for Duct Cleaning opted to “get cute” rather than “get customers”. Click to see why cute SUCKS.
- When you take 1 step forward but 2 steps backward with this Water Restoration Google Ad for Sewage Cleanup in Fort Worth, TX then your ad will SUCK. Click to see why.
- If you can’t keep your Plumbing Google Ad for Repiping corralled only in Buffalo, NY, then it is doomed to SUCK. Click to see what happened.
- By trying to sell the consumer one thing when they were looking for something else, this Roofing Google Ad in Denver is bound to SUCK. Click to see what they did wrong.
Talk to you next week,
